Love romance! My favorites are NA, Erotica, M/M, and if in the mood YA.

I'll Be Your Drill, Soldier - Crystal Rose This book was simply-

I'll Be Your Drill, Soldier is the story of Ryan Gracin and Phillip Grabowski- but to be honest it wasn't just about them. It was about a group of men fighting for their country.

I loved reading their emails. Reading their hardships and fears. It also wasn't just a story about romance. It was a story about friendship, family, and loyalty. This book was steamy, homourous, and emotional. This is a book I would recommend to EVERYONE. It's a story that we can ALL learn something from.

5 Awesome Stars!
More Than This (More, #1) - Jay McLean photo her33_zps99a8e26c.gif

More Than This was so much more than I expected. This is the beautiful coming of age story of Kayla and Jake. They meet on a night in which Kayla loses everything she loves and Jake was there to help keep her together.

The author did such a wonderful job depicting their pain, sorrow, joy, and intense chemistry. Their commitment to each other was felt on every sentence, every page.

photo image_zpseb21885f.jpg

All the characters were well developed and the author took great care with building their relationship. We were on their journey with them. We were with Kayla as she went through the different stages of grief and we were with Jake as he was her rock. He was so patient and understanding with her.

I loved their chemistry.

Every look, every touch was felt. I seriously felt butterflies as I was reading it.

She's looking at me with so much emotion that I hope to hell that I'm reading her right, that the look she's giving me is telling me everything I want to hear. That she believes in Fate. In Love. In Us. Forever.

Jay Mclean you have made a fan out of me. More Than This deserves more than 5 stars! Amazing debut!

Friend-Zoned - Belle Aurora Friend-Zoned is the very cute story of Tina and Nik. Tina has been in been in New York for the past couple of years. She's moved there to have a fresh start after having gone through some very painful experiences. While there she has opened her own clothing store and it is while working that she first sees a very sullen Nik take his smoke breaks. Since she hates to see anyone sad, one day she writes him an anonymous note with a piece of candy and that is where our story begins.

Tina and Nik along with their friends quickly become great friends. I found their interactions both humorous and sweet. There were a few over the top moments but overall it worked. I enjoyed that the book was written from a dual POV. I think if you need a break from emotionally draining reads or simply in the mood for a quick fun read- then this is the book for you!

During the book I was:

For such a light read- I have to say the parts that were sad- were really fucken sad. I was ugly crying. In the end though I felt happy.

Stubborn Love (I Love You, #2) - Natalie Ward This sums up how I felt when I saw this book recommendation:

Knock Love Out - Pella Grace This one is a bit hard to rate because there wasn't anything necessarily wrong with it. This was me during the first half of the book before she left her husband
photo tumblr_m94sdla9qU1r0dna4_zpse211a255.gif

I felt that the first half the story was realistically written. There are many women out there that have felt this way in their relationships or marriages. Feeling unappreciated, invisible, and resentful. Did I agree with her wanting to have an affair no, but I can understand where she wanted to be noticed by a man. What woman doesn't feel flattered when she's noticed? I felt the author did a great job bringing Lilla's feelings forward.

Cash Valentine. He is passionate and selfless. He's a successful artist that works for free for his father's floundering grocery store. It is while working there that he first meets Lilla. I thought their time together was wonderfully written. You felt their passion, sadness, and hope. I enjoyed reading him almost teaching her to find herself again.

Then the during the second half after she's left her husband. I started to feel like this:
photo kyle-richards-responds-brandi-glanville-c-word_1__zpseaebd865.gif
IMO, the writing changed. It wasn't bad but I didn't enjoy it as much. I didn't find the humor funny and the secondary characters kind of annoyed me. Although they were also there in the first half, they played more of a part as the story progressed. The story started to lose me and I did find myself skimming when Heath and company came around. I just thought to myself why is she adding all this juvenile humor??? I enjoyed the more serious tone the book had in the first half.

Overall it was an enjoyable read and would still recommend it. What bothered me may not bother others. Plus I would recommend it for the first half alone. 3.5 stars.
Wait for You - Jennifer L. Armentrout, J. Lynn ♥ Beautiful! Review to come. 4.5 stars.

The story is beyond repetitive. Dillon's an asshole. She keeps taking his shit. Gavin continues to want her. Over and over again. I kept waiting for SOMETHING, ANYTHING to happen. It didn't help that I think Emily's worst than Kiera Sorry, can't do it :( .

Mid Life Love - Whitney G. photo jon_is_disappointed_zps5d2469a6.gif

Although I enjoyed the book I had a big problem with Claire. I did feel bad for her. My mom was cheated on and I saw how difficult it was for her to pick up the pieces after- so I was sympathetic to her annoying insecurities. Plus, when things came together at the end it was more understandable to justify some of her actions. Even still though- I just really had a hard time liking her. She was so immature. I found the way she treated Jonathan was too much. I began to wonder why this great guy even wanted to be with her. The straw that broke the camel's back came towards the end though. Don't read this next bit if you plan to read this book. So in the end, while she's dating someone else (Damian) she sees the error of her ways and asks Jonathan to take her back. He tells her his condition, she doesn't do it and continues to stay with Damian even though she knows she loves Jonathan and continues to try to see him even after she failed to do as he asked.
photo tumblr_mexnor5gpU1rbe9qf_zps445caac0.gif
After everything she went through. Didn't she think it was wrong to continue to stay with Damian? To lead him on? I don't care that they weren't "sleeping" together. It was still a "romantic" relationship or so she led him to believe. What she should have done is that same night she asked Jonathan to take her back- even though things still hadn't worked out- she should've gotten a separate room from Damian and broken things off with him. Didn't she think it was fucked up to continue to stay with him while she's trying to get back Jonathan? She's doing all these things behind Damian's back. Isn't that in a way "cheating"? The book was about this woman who was wronged by her cheating husband and best friend, yet here she was acting this way. I found it very selfish. It just didn't go with the story line. That whole thing subtracted a star for me.

I think the author is talented and I did find the book entertaining. The end just kind of ruined the book for me---> I don't want to worry anyone that wants to read this. This is a stand alone, there's no cliffy and it has a HEA. I didn't like the end for personal reasons. 2.5 Stars.
Facade (Games, #2) - Nyrae Dawn This book was just:
photo ZFlwweb_zps71178137.gif
I'm going to keep it short. Writing was good. Synopsis was good. Twist was unexpected. For some reason though- I was bored. I feel bad because I loved the first book in this series and I loved Adrian in it. I just never felt connected to the story. I would still recommended it because I can guarantee the story will work for others. I also very much look forward to reading more work from this author despite this story not meeting my expectations. 3 stars.
untitled (Battered Hearts, #3) - Kele Moon Agghhhhhhhhhh! Book 3 in the Battered Hearts Series!!!!!

Out of Breath (Breathing, #3) - Rebecca Donovan Hmm...I need to think about how to rate this one...
photo url-3_zpsfc5727cc.gif

I didn't dig the first half of the book. To be honest I almost DNFed it. I didn't mind the self self destructive part - because I know in a way that is a part of her getting where she needed to be. I can't put my finger on what it was I didn't like. So the first half the book gets 2 stars.

Now the second half of the book I loved and it made me glad that I stuck it out. The second part of the book gets 5 stars.

Mathematically speaking that's 3.5 stars. For Evan I'll round it up to 4. He really was all kinds of amazing in this book ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

I also want to add that Cole needs his own book!!! HE NEEDS HIS HEA!!!

Losing Hope (Hopeless, #2) - Colleen Hoover photo tumblr_mp5ugoBmbM1qjabolo1_400_zps0990fa67.gif

This is one of those magical books that only come around so often. I'm not going to rehash the whole story because chances are if you're reading this, then you've already read Hopeless and know Holder's and Sky's story. All that I will say is that this book is perfect. I often get emotional in books but this book wrecked me in the best way. It was funny, it was sad, and it was inspiring. I don't want to write anymore than this- because I want whoever reads this review to experience Holder's point of view for the first time. There are not enough stars in the sky to rate this book. There are not enough ways to express how much I loved it. It's simply beautiful.
